The Asia-Pacific Library and Information Education and Practice (A-LIEP) Conference will be held here in the Philippines from October 28 to 30, 2015 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

The theme for this year's conference is:

Asia-Pacific LIS:
Exploring Unity Amid Diversity

The aim of the conference is to bring together speakers and participants to discuss and learn about the different and common practices in LIS education and profession from all over Asia and the Pacific.

We are inviting paper and poster presenters to the conference. Topics can range from Global and Regional practices in LIS education and the profession; trends in research in LIS; developments in LIS services; management concerns and practices of libraries and information centers; cooperation among libraries and information centers, resource sharing; internationalization of LIS and many more.

Times New Roman, 11 pt. font
20 min. presentation slot

Divisions: Introduction, Main Text (with appropriate subdivisions), Conclusion, References, Appendices
Main Headings in bold face, subheadings underlined.
Paragraphs are aligned to both left and right margins (justified).
Author(s) should provide 3 to 6 keywords and 200-word informative abstract.
The APA citation style should be used and footnotes are not encouraged.
Photographs, if any, should be at 300dpi.
Document file types accepted: MS Office Word or Libre/Open Office Writer.
Document submission is via email (aliep@slis.upd.edu.ph).
